About Me

My photo
Helllllo there I'm Amy :) I am a graduate with a 2:1 degree in Stop Motion animation. My main specialty is creating characters and environments using fabric such as felt. This blog is just a place for me to share some of my work. I have a long way to go still but, I'm determined to improve my skills and someday make a living out of something I'm passionate about :) I hope you all enjoy viewing my blog and if anyone has any questions, feel free to ask. I don't bite :)

Adding felt to the face and also eyebaaaaalls!

I have also begun defining the face of my puppet :)

By working into the foam base, I've given her a nose and ears. I also stabbed deep into the foam to make a indent for the eyes to go. This gives her head a lot more depth instead of looking so flat.

I even added eyelashes! I think she is looking super cute at the moment. She still needs to be refined and tidied up before I'm ready to animate her. She will need some clothes too but I'll post about them in a upcoming entry to the blog! Stay tuned!

  1. Hi Amy! I have to say I'm finding this fascinating! Seeing your drawings become something real is wonderful to see! I will most definitely be staying tuned.
    Kind regards, Brian.
