Helllllo there I'm Amy :) I am a graduate with a 2:1 degree in Stop Motion animation. My main specialty is creating characters and environments using fabric such as felt. This blog is just a place for me to share some of my work. I have a long way to go still but, I'm determined to improve my skills and someday make a living out of something I'm passionate about :) I hope you all enjoy viewing my blog and if anyone has any questions, feel free to ask. Lots and lots of trees :3

Sorry for the lack of updates everyone. Been extremely busy getting my puppets and sets sorted that I haven't had chance to post anything up. But I thought I'd post up about my trees.

As the trees in my film are meant to be flat and cut out in style, to make one I drew out the tree shape on large sheets of foam board and then I cut it out with a sharp blade.

To add colour to the trees, I then cut out pieces of coloured felt and attached them to the tree using a hot glue gun.

I did this until the tree is completely covered.

I then added the bark texture by cutting out small pieces of red funky foam and stuck them to the trunk of each tree.

Also made a few bushes as well :D
