About Me

Helllllo there I'm Amy :) I am a graduate with a 2:1 degree in Stop Motion animation. My main specialty is creating characters and environments using fabric such as felt. This blog is just a place for me to share some of my work. I have a long way to go still but, I'm determined to improve my skills and someday make a living out of something I'm passionate about :) I hope you all enjoy viewing my blog and if anyone has any questions, feel free to ask. I don't bite :)

Thumbnails :)

Haven't posted up anything story related for my film so I thought I better had. Here are some quick thumbnail storyboards I did weeks back when trying to nail down the story for my film. Certain things have changed and certain shots I plan to change or get rid of them completely but I only have a week left of pre production so I'm a bit panicky and I haven't even got a full animatic yet. I feel the pressure is on also because I had a good mark in my last project I got a 1st! Yippee for me! Just quite concerned and I want to keep the good quality of work up and I still feel I have so much more to do and so little time left! But I hope to get it all done and get a good grade once again :) I apoligise if my thumbnails make no sense to anyone but I hope to fully explain my story when I actually post up my animatic up next week.

Enjoy looking at my fantastic drawings if you can ;P

See you in the next post!

  1. Hi Amy! You've done a heck of a lot of work on your storyboards, it's nice to see it developing. I got the gist of the story so the thumbnails aren't too confusing!
Good luck as you go on to the next stage, I'm sure you'll do brilliantly!
    Kind regards, Brian.

  2. Well these aren't final :) I'm going to hand these in as Thumbnails but I'm working on a neater storyboard and animatic alongside other things at the moment. So much to do and only have a week left so I'm starting to panic! But I hope it all comes together :) Thanks again Brian for the words of encouragement though :)
